Coastland Home Co. – Terms and Conditions Agreement

Effective Date: March 9, 2026

These Terms and Service Agreement (“Agreement”) govern the services provided by Coastland Home Co. By approving an estimate, scheduling service, or allowing work to begin, the customer agrees to the following terms.

1. Scope of Services

Coastland Home Co. provides residential home maintenance, repair, and improvement services as outlined in the approved estimate or work order. Any additional services requested after work begins may require a revised estimate or change order.

2. Estimates

All estimates are based on the information available at the time of inspection. If unforeseen issues or conditions are discovered during the project, Coastland Home Co. will notify the customer before proceeding with additional work or costs.

3. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing.

For larger projects, Coastland Home Co. may require a deposit before work begins. Failure to provide payment may result in suspension of services and additional collection actions if necessary.

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Customers must provide at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Coastland Home Co. reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee for last-minute cancellations or missed appointments.

5. Customer Responsibilities

The customer agrees to provide safe and reasonable access to the property and work areas. Coastland Home Co. is not responsible for delays caused by inaccessible work areas, pets, utilities being shut off, or unsafe conditions.

Customers should remove fragile or valuable items from work areas prior to service.

6. Property Conditions

Coastland Home Co. is not responsible for pre-existing damage, structural issues, hidden conditions, or problems that were not visible prior to beginning work.

Some repairs may expose additional issues within walls, floors, or other structures that were not initially visible.

7. Workmanship Guarantee

Coastland Home Co. strives to provide high-quality workmanship. If an issue related directly to our workmanship arises within 30 days of service completion, we will make reasonable efforts to correct the issue.

This guarantee does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, or damage caused by other contractors or homeowners.

8. Materials

If Coastland Home Co. supplies materials for a project, those materials may be subject to manufacturer warranties. Coastland Home Co. does not control or extend manufacturer warranties.

9. Limitation of Liability

Coastland Home Co. shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from services provided. Our total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid for the service performed.

10. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Georgia.

11. Acceptance of Terms

By approving an estimate, scheduling services, or allowing work to begin, the customer acknowledges that they have read and agree to these Terms and Service Agreement.
